Doug Lentz
Owner – Legend Flooring
With a major in economics Doug wanted to be an Entrepreneur and eventually own his own business. Relocating from a small town in Minnesota to the Phoenix area he found himself in a sales position with a tiny carpet store in Chandler.
Eventually the product selection came to include tile, wood, and vinyl and with his visionary goals he moved the location to a more visible and larger space, purchased the business, changed the name and added blinds and shutters to the product base. He also met and married his wife who has an interior design background in 1996 and had her come work with him which added a valuable service to the store.
Wendy Lentz
Interior Designer
Owner and Secretary. Wendy has education in interior design and has over 25 years experience in home design. She married her husband Doug in 1996 and joined him in his business adventure in the flooring industry with Legend Flooring.
Together they work as a strong team; with his technical expertise and her artistic edge they are able to give homeowners custom designs and intricate layouts without extra cost.
Mike Griffith
Sales
Mike Griffith has had a successful career in sales, most recently in the flooring industry for the past six years. He is delighted to join the team at Legend Flooring! The one thing that has been a common thread throughout his career has been Mike’s desire to help people. Mike grew up in Pennsylvania and resided in New Jersey after marrying his college sweetheart Carol, whom he met when they were both Music majors.
Mike has been a professional musician for most of his adult life and continues to play actively today in several area bands, and serving in Worship Ministry at his church. He and Carol have made their home in Gilbert for the last 19 years, have four grown children and six grandchildren all living in the East Valley. When not busy at Legend Flooring or spending time with family, Mike can be found playing the guitar, going to music concerts with his wife, and enjoying a good movie!
Wendy Pendleton
Sales & Design
After graduating from Brigham Young University, Wendy worked as a design consultant for a custom home builder. Tasked with providing design direction from home conception to completion, she served as liaison between builder, customer, & architect. Staying ahead of market trends was imperative to her responsibility of curating the finish options offered to customers while her strong design sense helped provide expert guidance to home buyers struggling to actualize their design vision.
Her experience in new home construction has been invaluable as she made the leap to the flooring industry.
Wendy joined the Legend Flooring team in March 2022 after relocating to Gilbert with her family. She is passionate about design and looks forward to helping you realize your flooring design vision.
